Pneumatic Operated Forged Steel Flanged Bonnet V Port Segment Ball Valve
Brief Introduction:
The Pneumatic V-shaped regulating ball valve is a rotary ball valve with a core seat made of metal or metal to PTFE sealing and matching. It combines the best control characteristics of the ball valve and butterfly valve into one, and can be used as both a control regulating valve and a shut-off valve.
Product Features
The shear force between the ball and the metal seat type V incision is especially suitable for containing fiber and small solid particles, pulp, and other medium.
Fully open flow capacity, small pressure loss, and the media will not deposit in the body cavity.
Using a spring-loaded movable seat structure, preventing the occurrence of ball core and valve seat from jamming, ensuring reliable sealing and long service life.
Accurate regulation and reliable positioning function, approximately equal percentage flow characteristics, and a large adjustable range (maximum ratio 100:1).

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the primary advantage of a V-port segment ball valve? The V-shaped notch provides excellent control characteristics and high shear force, making it ideal for media containing fibers or small solids.
2. What are the available seat materials? The valve comes with either a Soft Seal (PTFE) or a Hard Seal (Metal-to-Metal), depending on the application's temperature and media requirements.
3. Can this valve handle high temperatures?Yes, with the Hard Seal configuration, the valve can operate reliably at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 300°C.
4. What is the adjustable range of the V-port valve? This valve features a very large adjustable range, with a maximum ratio of up to 100:1 for precise flow regulation.
5. Which industries commonly use this segment ball valve? It is widely used in pulp and paper, chemical processing, and other industrial applications where precise regulation of viscous or particle-heavy media is required.
6. Does the valve support automatic operation?Yes, it is designed for pneumatic operation but can also be equipped with electric or manual driving mechanisms.
